My Summer Essential Number 4 - Soap & Glory Righteous Butter (Review)

This is my go-to summer body butter, well its my all year around body butter really but I use it twice as much in the summer and on holiday.I love this product and have yet to find a body butter that is on a par with this when it comes to leaving your skin feeling super moisturised and smelling amazing!

Soap and Glory describe the body butter as "Award winning body butter with softening shea butter and aloe vera. Smooth on a handful after your shower and you might swear you're wearing velvet. Scented with our Original Pink™ fragrance." and you know what they did a pretty good job, the description is almost exact.

The 'original pink' fragrance is gorgeous, the rose and bergamot scent and reminds me of  COCO Mademoiselle by Chanel. It isn't as rich as the eau de parfum but it does linger on your skin for a few hours.

I generally use the body butter once a week as it is an intensive moisturising treatment but while on holiday I use it almost every night. It has a rich consistency but it does absorb quickly into your skin and it doesn't leave you feeling greasy. They also do a body lotion that you can use everyday if you want to over dose on the Soap & Glory pink fragrance, which isn't a bad thing to do, its divine!

This has been an essential for me this summer, if your on the look out for a new body butter or moisuriser definitely check this out. Its available in Boots and retails around the €13.50/£10.50 mark. Boots often do 3 for 2 on the soap and glory skin care range and I normally stock up on this and some of my holy grail hand cream 'Hand Food by Soap & Glory'
